debt recovery order
I have just received a letter from an agency collecting what happens!!?
The letter informed me that I owed them nearly £ 200 to an Catalog companies that I have never bought anything from. The debt is related to say to my old address from nine years ago. This is the first thing I have heard of and it was a bit of a shock. I called the catalog that claim the account number on the letter from the debt collector and they reeled off a list of things that I supposedly ordered had, which were all a mystery to me, but they had my old address and personal information. How can this happen and I am responsible for these debts. Each Help would be greatly appreciated.
It is possible identity theft. Thieves are ordering order on your behalf with your credit card and old address.
